Event Concept

The concept "WHERE ART MEETS SCIENCE" was centered on a ‘spectacular’ multi-sensory, immersive event.

EVENTÔIR translated this theme into every detail of the event. Starting with the venue, Felix Meritis, the centre for art, culture, and science, and an international meeting place in Amsterdam, was the canvas for this beautiful event. Regarding unforgettable venues, few locations in Amsterdam are more spectacular than the Felix Meritis.

Before walking up the beautiful staircases the beautiful harpist surprised the guests with her romantic and dreamy tones, there was something almost angelic about the way she played the harp.

In the Zuilenzaal the guests were welcomed by a beautiful violin ensemble, who brought a classical serenade to the arriving guests, as a live painter would be painting a live overview of the beautiful space including the guests. It was a fascinating, classical welcome.

After the welcome speech and toast, the show was about to begin. The guests were surprised by a very special act. Miyoko Shida performed live on stage in front of 80 guests, which made it a very exclusive experience for the guests.

Miyoko Shida Rigolo is one of six people in the world who perform the Sanddorn Balance – a remarkable balancing act with 14 palm branches and a single feather.

Themed-corporate-event-performance

Miyoko interprets the Sanddorn Balance in a mysterious, almost mystical way. It is one of the most mesmerizing acts in the world.

Themed-corporate-event-breathtaking-show

It was a breathtaking show. This spectacular act interpreted balance in a mysterious way and touched the guest's soul deeply. It was the perfect translation of the theme "where art meets science".

Despite the strength and control required to maintain the balance of the structure, Miyoko Shida dances with delicacy. Despite having a sharp focus, she radiates tranquility and serenity. At the very end of the dance, she returns to the feather and knocks it off the framework, causing the entire thing to collapse.

During dinner, the evening had a rich entertainment program, including beautiful piano music, an acoustic duo, and last but not least, our clients' in-house 3-piece band performed live on stage, combining cello and electric guitar.

Themed-corporate-event-artwork

It was truly a memorable night at Felix Meritis. At the end of the event, the finished painting was displayed in the hall, where the guests could admire the artwork.

WHAT OUR CLIENT SAYS

“I think working with EVENTÔIR and getting that different experience for your guests and thinking out of the box and coming up with ideas, and I love that. No idea seems too crazy.. And I just really love that. And I think that's why the rapport works so well. Not afraid to think out of the box. Not afraid to say, hey, how about this? This really works for us. And I love being able to experience new things, learn about new ideas, new acts that are coming out. And so curating the content together with EVENTÔIR, I think, is half of the fun experience of putting on something like this. If I had to say use three words to describe EVENTÔIR, I would say reliable, punctual, and exciting.” – Head of Communications - Venture Capital Firm
