Meeting In Budapest

Meeting In Budapest

This time, EVENTÔIR got hired to organize a meeting in Budapest.

It is always a pleasure to explore new possibilities in a different country. Hence, we planned fun activities and incorporated ways for the attendees to discover the beauty of Budapest.

The invited guests gathered in the lobby of the Hotel Hilton in Budapest. This resort was recognized as Hungary’s Leading Hotel at the World Travel Awards Europe 2018. Hence, the guests had a magnificent stay with a great location close to notable attractions, but also amazing views from the hotel.

Walking Tour

Next, the group took a walking tour in the city which proved to be a lot of fun. One of the places visited was the city’s parliament, which is the seat of Hungary’s National assembly. The architectural design of this building is breathtaking. The attendees also visited Budapest’s Basilica- the country’s biggest cathedral as well as the third largest church of Hungary in the modern day. Its design is impressive, thus another stop where the invitees made sure to take pictures. Last but not least, the group visited the historical Synagogue in the city, which also happened to be the largest synagogue in Europe. It has a seating capacity of 3000 people. The interior of the Synagogue is absolutely spectacular. A must see when visiting Budapest. After having taken many pictures during the walking tour, the guests were ready to grab some drinks and relax.

End of the day

Therefore, they were brought to the Szimpla Kert Pub. This old factory was transformed into a large open-air cinema and pub. It is now known as a colorful street that offers everything from food, drinks, concerts to cultural displays. This was a great opportunity to catch up, mingle and drink some good Hungarian cocktails.

Having gained some new energy, the guests were transferred to the dock to enjoy an hour-long open-bar boat cruise. This memorable cruise took them to the castle district. The night lights offered great views on the cruise tour, which was highly appreciated by everyone. Finally, the boat stopped at the restaurant Baltazar. This restaurant has a private room – Kanallós terem – where they served a delicious 3-course menu to the 25 guests. Accompanied by some lovely wines, people were having a good laugh, talking about the adventurous day they had experienced. Everyone was happy to leave the city with such memorable moments.

“Budapest is really a fantastic city! Your guide was really good as well: very friendly and speaks good English – highly recommended! The walking tour with a drink stop at a ruin bar, and the boat tour were a very good combination. It was a very warm day, so the boat trip was refreshing. Thank you.” – International Publishing Company – Senior Marketing Manager Customer Engagement
