Situated amid beautiful historical architecture, and boasting stunning interior design, Sir Hotels offer some wonderful places to stay. They pride themselves first and foremost on location. Indeed, their hotels have been built in some truly extraordinary places.
The Netherlands
The very first of the Sir Hotels boutique hotel collection, Sir Albert, came into being in De Pijp, a famous district in Amsterdam, in 2013. A famous spot and the inspiration behind the hotel name was the Albert Cuyp Market, which is just down the street. Many great tourist spots like Museum Square are within walking distance.
Sir Albert has high ceilings and large windows that give a refreshing sense of openness, the perfect backdrop for its sleekly modern interior design. This includes high-end amenities like a rain shower and to make your stay as cozy as possible, it further incorporates Sir´s signature bathrobes and slippers.
Part of prime location, of course, is access to some top-notch community events. Sir Albert offers “Amsterdam by Dream Boat” canal tours which pass by merchant houses and the like.
While Sir Adam offers its own rain showers, 300-thread-count sheets, “Pick Your Perfect Pillow” menu and the like, its most noteworthy and unique amenities are a Gibson guitar and an eclectic selection of vinyl records. The latter you can pick out and assemble from the hotel vinyl library.
Some activities on offer by Sir Hotels for Sir Adam are “Amsterdam by Night,” “Up in Smoke Treatment,” and “Sound Bowl Meditation.”
Amsterdam by Night, as its name implies, entails a nighttime tour of Amsterdam by a famous local by the name of Jackson. Get to see the famous Red Light District.
Additionally, Sound Bowl Meditation involves healing through the use of sound bowl vibrations. These are but a few of the many interesting and fun ways you can spend your time here. Constructed within the A’DAM Tower in Amsterdam, Sir Adam is kept lively company by MassiveMusic, Gibson, and ID&T.
It also overlooks the IJ river.
Germany
Sir Savigny opened after Sir Albert, in Charlottenburg, Berlin. The Paris Bar, which enjoys the reputation of being one of West Berlin’s most infamous eateries, although, as stated by David Bowie, it was where they served the best steaks in town. Furthermore, Stilwerk offers 5 floors of upscale shops that specialize in furniture.
Thus, this neighborhood definitely belongs to one of Berlin’s exciting art scenes. The Romanisches Cafe is another favorite of locals and travelers alike.
When it comes to interior design, Sir Savigny has a strong air of sophistication, with art from Katharina Musick decorating the clean, elegant lines of the rooms. Minibars add a further sense of luxe.
Sir Savigny is a haven amid the bustle of modern Berlin, offering room service from the hotel’s own restaurant, The Butcher, as well as a “Pick Your Perfect Pillow” menu. The bedding and decor have a noble appearance, mirrored by the royal sensation of 300-thread-count cotton linens.
Sir Nikolai, perhaps even more than its Sir hotel counterparts, is all about charm. The hotel is located in Hamburg, based in a 7-story Kontorhaus, once a seed warehouse. Sir Nikolai gets its name from the Nikolaifleet canal right in front of the building.
The style of Sir Nikolai is classy and modern. The decor is bold, yet lovely, with rich colors and fine details that bring the historical building to modern life. The rooms feature custom-made furniture, and soft lighting to put your mind at ease.
Spain
For those looking for an island retreat, Sir Joan overlooks Ibiza’s port and Old Town. The hotel has a unique design that is a pleasure for the senses. This includes stainless steel wall panels, polished to reflect light in a way reminiscent of waves. Stripped wood yacht floors also fit the nautical theme.
Last, but certainly not least, is Sir Victor, which is going to launch in 2019 in the beautiful city of Barcelona. It features breathtaking views, a luxurious spa, a rooftop pool and much more. The rooms themselves, which are big and bright, reflect the energy of Barcelona perfectly; just as all Sir Hotels do in their respective locations.
